WENDY:
Much as I miss Our home at Greythorn Hall, I am pretty excited to be living in this old schools building.
I still make a trip out to the house almost every day but moving into the school still seems like the safe bet. I’ve always believed in the whole safety in numbers philosophy.
We have to keep safe, and most of the town kids agreed to move into the School.
Beds and furniture have been moved from houses and it’s starting to feel livable around here.
As the original finder of the Janitors Keys, I’ve made it my personal mission to explore all of the previously “off limit to children” areas of the property.
The younger of the orphan kids who moved into our house have helped me out, being younger than myself and willing to take my orders as Law at this point. Cas has been with me most of the time too, while Corin does the whole “leader” thing and tries to court Genesis…
I unlock the Janitors “closet”, which has become my own personal claimed space in the school.
So far, it’s the most interesting space I’ve found in the building…I moved all the cleaning supplies out on the first day we moved in (putting them all in a secondary broom closet on the other end of the building)
Beyond the main area where the supplies were kept, there’s an access door down to the boiler room, which is warm and cozy, and totally private.
I quickly slip into the boiler room and grab a light jacket before leaving again, locking the door behind me.
The janitors keys jingle in my hand as I turn the key in the lock, securing my privacy.
Leaving quietly I go in search of my cousin, who has been so busy I’ve barely been able to speak with him in days.

CORIN
Counting rations is not fun. It’s damn boring. I’m supposed to have help With this, but Claire is missing, and I’m as annoyed about it as I am afraid for her.
She was my unofficial organizer and keeper of the maps, and I miss her ability to quickly sort craziness into order.
I’ve decided to arrange some sort of investigation into her disappearance, and honestly the best person I can think of for the job would be my snoopy cousin Wendy and her “boyfriend” Cas. I just haven’t had a chance to speak with her at all since the debacle of Our celebration Dinner.
I put 2 cans of Pinto Beans with the others, adding them to my tally.
I hope the fresh veg lasts a while before we have to break into the canned goods. I want those saved for winter…
I hear some noise behind me and I turn to see whose come into the school pantries looking for either me, or to sneak a quick meal.
I think some cans went missing yesterday. Maybe I’ll catch a thief amongst us…
