One of the security detail tells me that there are unidentified people are on the beach. It’s unknown if they are Techno’s or escapees. I can’t take the chance so I put on my my calf height black boots with my pants tucked inside, my brown vest and my top hat with my goggles on them. Next I touch up the paint on the left side of my face. A robotic skeleton design with plastic gears stuck above and below the mandible. I then grab my staff and my battery powered remote. The scout tells me where on the beach they are at and I make my way that direction with him and one other.
The scouts and others who work security detail are prisoners that have been rescued from the clutches of the Techno’s. Some of them escaped and we found. They’re the ones who stayed on the island who want to help bring down the Techno trash and get their families back… We stay just outside of where they Gaian’s live. We keep Techno’s and undesirable people away and they help keep our location and trade with us.
I guess you can say we’re a nomad tribe with no name.
Once we get close, I send the others in opposite directions and drop down onto my forearms and knees. Slowly I crawl closer to the beach. They don’t even notice me or the other two. I don’t recognize any of these people. Can’t take the chance they’re undercover Techno’s. I stand up and give the signal for the other two to come out with their staffs at the ready. Now is time to get their attention.
“DON’T, TAKE, ANOTHER, STEP!” I shout. I wait until I have their attention and I hold up the remote where they can see it and continue. “This beach IS booby-trapped and one of you is about to set it off if you keep moving. Now pay attention. I will disarm them but you all will line up single file and come with us. Everything will be explained but we can’t take the chance of being overheard so we’re moving on to a new location. You will be tied up at the wrist and blindfolded until we know more about you.”
I press the left button on the remote and send the other two to make sure they comply. @Whoever is currently on the beach
I look over at the weird-looking guy who has just come onto the beach shouting “Can’t be that well booby-trapped cause we’ve all been all over this beach” I remarked “You ain’t tying me up or blindfolding me pal, blow me up before anyone takes prisoner… Its a No from me” I say as I move to lean back in my spot “Crazy fool yelling his demands at us” I mutter waiting for one of the others to react.
Who did this guy think he was, why would he think that they would let him know more about them when he wants to tie them up and blindfold them.
I declined Jack’s proposal and thought who put him in charge? I suggested that Blondie or Eye Candy maybe a better option.
Lex’s sidekick as odd as he seemed spoke up and made a lot of sense actually. Before I or anyone had a chance to continue standing around getting no where someone with a even more interesting look rocked up telling us all to not take another step, but then to get into single file, be tied and blindfolded. This bloke made Lex’s bum chum seem normal.
I even find myself agreeing with him, “Yeah no booby traps along this beach Cogsworth. I have personally not walked much of the beach but each step I take the whole ground shakes so this beach would be destroyed if there was.” A huge smirk lights up my face. I pludge my hand down on to Flip Flop’s back. Without laughing I manage another sentence, "Don’t come over here and throw your top hat and goggles about, did your mother never tell you to not speak to strangers?"
OOC: Edit due to Alice having a change of heart, and thinking Jay or Slade would be better as lead security.
In the middle of Jay possibly lying through his teeth and the showdown between Ebony and Lex, some weirdo appears yelling at us that the beach is booby trapped. He then orders us to basically be captured. Zak calls his bluff before anyone else, settling like he’s unafraid, and Alice backs him up.
Me? Hell yeah I’m afraid. I’m itching to run and hide like my brother’s taught me, only I don’t know this place. I could run right into a Techno or some creature, who knows?
“What do we do?” I whisper loud enough for the closest to me to hear.
I nod in response “You’re right, it does, its not like the other bases we have been before” I tell her “We might have our work cut out for us here” heading through the halls I watched as tribe members hurrying from room to room.
Reaching out I grabbed one as she tried passing us “We’ve just arrived with the lastest shipment of prisoners. We know Commander Lutient Luke will be busy but we need to speak to someone who is in charge” I say looking at her, she was a meek looking girl.
She pointed to a door and muttered under her breath before scurrying away “Well all I got from that was something Danni?” I turned to August “Lets go meet Danni” I smile and head towards the door the girl pointed at knocking loudly.
What, now?! My head snaps in the direction of some movement as a voice bellows out. I see a guy with his face half painted, sporting a top hat and goggles. Has he fallen off a blimp and landed here? Where the hell did he come from?
I step away from Ebony, as the guy demands we comply with his wishes to lineup and be blindfolded. Zak and Alice are the first to jump to action. “My god what a morning,” I mumble. I haven’t had enough sleep for this shit. I push Lottie behind me as she asks what we do.
“I’m not going to be herded like cattle, blindly to the slaughter, I know that much.” If I had to fight, I would.
A smirk takes over my face when they all shout back at me. They mention having been here a while. They haven’t been to the northern beach then otherwise thete would have been booby-traps. If they were undercover Techno’s, they would have blown their cover by going for their wrist blasters. I have the security detail come out and stand on either side of the group.
I don’t move and I plant my staff in the ground next to me and lean against it. Hopefully that calms them down. They do outnumbered us. The larger woman could probably take all of us.they aren’t escapees either as they are not as agreeable.
I change my tone to a more friendly one.
“Forgive the rude introduction. We have to remain on our guard as Techno’s are not friends of ours. I believe you’re not Techno’s but I still can not be sure yet. You might be able to help us and we can help you if you’re not. Please, come with us. You will not be harmed. I do ask that you allow us to tow you together at the waist so anyone that happens upon will think we’re slave traders heading to the Techno base and ask no questions. Please go along with this and I will explain everything and answer any and all questions when we arrive to the destination. And if you are who I hope you are, there’s someone who has been waiting to speak with you.”
The Mall Rats and the new ones without doubt knew Miss Motor Mouth was back. This new presence rambles off some more nonsense so I fire back at him.
"I have been a Techno prisoner for too long, and I don’t know you from Adam. You could be working with the Techno’s for all we know. Actually if you ask me you sound as crazy as The Guardian? Did you break him out? And that’s who is waiting to speak to us?"

“We are about due a challenge,” I murmur in agreement with Lily’s words, “but at least we can use our charms to our advantage.”
Lily grabs a pretty terrified looking girl and asks her about who is in charge but the response is less than helpful. “Sounds like a plan.” I agree when Lily says we should go and meet this Danni.
Moving towards the door I don’t bother waiting for a response to Lily’s knock, I just push it open, only pausing when my eyes fall on a very pissed off looking brunette sat up in bed. This didn’t look like an office, but a sick room.
Her eyes narrow but before she can question I step into the room “August and Lily, we wanted to report to the most senior person here.” I explain. The woman doesn’t speak but almost gives a gesture encouraging me to go on, wish is a challenge as her arm appears to be in a splint “came in with the newest shipment of prisoners and supplies. We’ve just arrived this minute… wanted to check in, find out our orders?”
My eye twitches when the large woman insinuates that I could be working for the wire heads.
“I am NOT working for the automatons. We are seeking to wipe their hard drives once and for all! These gentleman with me were being brought to the island until I rescued them. I have a collection of masks and blasters.”
They both nod their heads. “You all have two options, lady. You all can try to rush us and stay here in the open and eventually be caught by the wire heads or you can do what I have suggested and you will be safe, hidden and if you’re nice, you’ll be fed. We won’t tie you up tightly. Just enough to look convincing. Your choice.”
I watch as August walks in, she was never one to wait around. Taking a breath I follow her in, she mentions finding out our orders.
“12 new prisoners, 8 males and 4 females” I tell her, although I’m not sure if genders make any difference some Commanders like to know who they have got in “They are being lead towards the secured area as we speak”
“This is where our currenty duties ended, we were told we would remain on the Island until we were no longer needed but to expect a long stay” I inform her as I stand next to August. The girl looks worse for wear and I wondered what kind of place this was, though I had the feeling it was going to be interesting.
I hold my hand up indicating to the security detail to stand down as the Amazon looking woman runs off into the trees. I turn to the others standing there.
“Any of you are free to follow her. I promise though, myself, these men and the person in charge only wish to help as you have shown no hostility nor attempted altercation.”
I roll my eyes again, not going to go prancing into the woods but neither am I going to be ‘lightly tied up’ by a stranger “Why doesn’t this mystery person just come here? Rather then asking ALL of us to move and to be tied up regardless of how, why don’t they come here or are their feet to delicate to touch the common sand”
I honestly don’t understand why this guy would think we would allow a stranger, who came over threatening us first, to tie us up and lead us to an unknown place to see one person.
“Not gonna lie pal, but you haven’t given us a single reason to trust you. Bring your mystery person here, I promise none of us will of moved” I add with a smirk.
I look over the kid still showing resistance. He has a point.
“I had to do that to make sure you weren’t undercover wire brains. Had you been, you would have tried to attack. It never fails. You’re also not escapees, you put up resistance. Which is also good. They usually get scared and do as we ask.”
I look at the rest of them. "I don’t know if the area is bugged. The automatons have a tendency of monitoring before attacking and I haven’t been able to check this part of the beach yet. That’s why I won’t give the name of our leader just yet. They think she’s deleted and we need to keep it that way. I will tell you what we tell any non Techno’s from the city, our leader always says, “Trust a tribe led by a Mall Rat. It will keep you Patched away from the Techno’s.”
I shake my head “I am pretty sure whoever your leader is isn’t important enough for them to care. Lets be honest here… The big friendly giant over there has recently escaped from the techno’s and she isn’t hiding away wanting everyone to go to her” I said in reference to Alice.
“These ARE the Mallrats, your leader may be one of them so wouldn’t it make more sense for you to trust us and bring your leader here. We’ve made it clear we are not in favour of following you, even if you gave us a name it could be anyone using that name. Maybe you’re leader should you know… Lead?”
Prometheus
“I told you, I can’t say too much else out loud, I’ll answer this much. Our leader, your former pink haired Mall rat, is also an operative and can’t risk being compromised by coming here and risk being seen talking to you. The other is the leader of the other tribe we’re helping. He said to tell you Pride would vouch for him being his former leader. He’s not here because he’s wanted bad by the automatons and can’t risk being seen in the daylight.”
I realize that this punk kid seems to fancy himself as the leader since he’s doing all of the talking. Then my eye is caught by one of the people standing with them. A former Techno. I’ll be sure to come back and get him.
I motion for my security detail to follow me with our prisoner.
I turn back and look the guy with long black hair, his friend with the black braided hair and the girl with them. “I’ll let them both know that you DEEvalued what the Mallrats stand for with your HAWKish mouth piece.” Hoping they pick up on my emphasis.
“Alright guys,” I say to my security. “Leave these stubborn fools to be captured.” I finish as we turn to leave. @Zandra@Lex@Patch@Whoever Else is on the beach

I’ve been forced from my cell and they are trying to make me walk around the yard. I keep looking around for weaknesses. I overhear two of the Techno’s attempting to whisper but it’s hard to do with those masks. They’re saying that there is about to less room in the yard if things go right.
This could be my chance as there will be of their numbers. If they’re raiding somewhere tonight, then that means the strong ones go with them. That’s when I’ll make my attempt. Wait… why are they pointing at me?
-Suddenly I’m grabbed by two other Techno’s. Much bigger than the others. I see the wrist blaster pointed at me- NNNNNNOOOOO!
-I’m waking up and in a different cell. Oh damn it! NO! I’m about to a test subject for something new! NO!-
" A shit." i shout at myself as the fish glide thriguth my hands… not sure how long i am standing in that damn cold water yet. Trying to caught something. How long can you keep your head high when you just have coconuts and berrys…
