I stand, my whole body on alert for the technos as I watch and listen to Patsy and KC talking… It suddenly makes sense why Patsy was pale and shaking, she thought KC hated her over a fight they had at the mall… KC says ‘You’re alive’… Wait… I think to myself, he thought she was dead… That explains why he was surprised when I mentioned her name…
“Have you seen any of the others from the mall” I ask KC as he stands still hugging Patsy…
Jack
The tribe had divided. I chose to go with these new faces. I needed them to treat my ankle, the pain was getting worse. Maybe they will have some magic herbs or even better a Taisan? The walk took longer because I was holding everyone up.
We finally made it and help was offered to me straight away. I turn to mr top hat, "Thank you by the way. You and your tribe were very accommodating on the walk here. Do you have a name? I’m Jack."
I look at the gentleman who just spoke to me. He introduces himself. So I nod to him and the purple haired girl.
“I’m, Prometheus. We are the Nomads. We We are front line defense for the Gaians. We’re helping each other. Get some rest and let them heal your ankle. The stuff they put on it is made by the Gaian’s.”
I turn towards the Gain base. “HAWK! COME HERE!”
Zan
While Amber and I had been going through the woods with the rest of the group, Hawk had made an appearance. I didn’t know much about him in all honesty but Amber gave me a little bit of information and that he was a Gaian.
It was surprising to learn just how big this Island was, my mind had drifted to Debian a few times though I would have no idea how to even get to our meeting place any more, I didn’t even have an idea where I was.
It was a weird feeling to go from basically being by yourself to people being around you, naturally I was constantly on alert. Hawk was leading us to his Tribe Camp and thankfully by living in the woods for so long I’d learnt how to find my way back, though there wasn’t exactly anything to go ‘back’ to.
As we reached the Gaian camp I looked around “Wow Hawk, this place is amazing” I said as I looked around in amazing, these people have literally created homes in the tree’s and here I was finding dry areas just to sleep in every night. We had only just gotten to the base when someone was yelling Hawk’s name.
Jack
He introduces himself as Prometheus, and informs us that they are working with the Gaian’s. It was nice to know the Gaian’s were out of the city before Mega’s virus was released. I hope to find the adorable little Mouse soon but I have to rest this ankle. I sit my bum down on a log. Looking around it seemed they hadn’t just arrived here. And then with an almighty shout Prometheus calls for Hawk. Christ almighty, I am glad I just sat or that could of startled me and done myself an injury to the other ankle.
I spotted Hawk, and I think my ankle and tiredness is messing with my vision. Is that Zandra? It’s not Christmas, but is this some kind of Christmas miracle? I shake my head and look down at the ground, and prey that Ellie is safe.
HAWK -
I knew that hair anywhere! The other face i didnt recognise so much, but to my delight i was so excited and eager to see Eagle, every bad feeling towards her had disappeared and right now my instinct was right and i could see the smile on her face as i came into her vision, the young girl with her looked slightly confused but with a soft pretty face, colourful hair and a look of dedication she most possibly could be a Mallrat.
The only thing that worries me is that they are alone, i hope baby Bray is safe and that Eagle wasnt going to be the bearer of bad news, me and my people had not felt good these last few weeks, somethings in the air…
It was like she’d never left, the strong leader that we’d gained all those years ago, she told me all about the boat and the virus, first thing was first, i needed to get them back to camp and keep them safe, then we would think about rescuing the others.
Zandra was a wonderful young woman, albeit abit chatty but hearing her remarkable story on the way to the camp kept us going for some time.
