BACKGROUND:
When the Techno’s came, Alice had been at the farm, still grieving over the loss of Ned and the life they could have had. Days on end she had spends with barely any sleep, trying to come to terms with the fact that the one man who had deemed her worthy of being loved, was gone.
Any other day those techno freaks would not have stood a chance, but she had been to worn out to fight back.
After being captured, she was quickly labeled as a threat to the amount of controle they had over the other slaves, so they moved her elsewhere, to a cage on the beach, a place called Labor Island.
She was there for a month before she was reunited with KC.
There wasn’t much news of the others, though KC had seen Bray a few days before that.
More and more captives got moved in and out throughout the days, including one she hated above all others.
But her anger at seeing the Guardian again was nothing compared to what she felt when Ryan turned out to be with the next group of slaves to be assigned to their cage.
Alice wasn’t sure if these Techno’s were just ignorant about the fact they all knew eachother, or if it had been more then just a happy accident, but she didn’t care.
Together with Ryan and KC, she quickly came up with a perfect plan to escape, one that would both get them free, and give both her and Ryan some well deserved revenge on the man who had ruined their lives.
When everyone around them was falling asleep, recharging after a long and tedious day, they made sure that Jaffa would never again live to ruin another person’s happiness.
As the Guardian drew his last breath, KC called for help, claiming Jaffa was suddenly dying… causing two Techno guards, a guy and a girl with braids similar to Ebony’s, to enter the cage.
With the use if their combined muscle, they knocked the guards down and made a break for it, setting the rest of the prisoners free aswel.
Finally free from the imprisonment, Alice and Ryan searched for their missing friends for quite some time.
KC decided to make his own luck, and had parted way with them after a short while.
After searching for months, they made the hard choice to give up their search and find themselves a place to live, away from the city, swearing they would never be slaves again.
They lived their lives harmoniously, not dwelling on the past to much, until one day, the red envelopes started to appear.
