BACKGROUND:
Working in the mines for the Chosen was a living hell, lucky Ryan was strong and didn’t find the work too hard. But he just longed for the Mall as it was his home and his wife Salene, sadly Ryan has never known the fate of their child that would never be born. But he also was so heartbroken over how things had gone the last time he had seen Salene, part of him felt so hurt and betrayed. Days turned to weeks which turned into months and he continued to work in the mines. Ryan grew stronger but also sadly thinner as the chosen wasn’t generous with the food.
Then all of a sudden they were gone, the chosen had fallen without their leader and just left one day. But there was so much confusion around this time. Any plans he had of going home (If that was even possible anymore) were cut short. Ryan could remember hearing planes going over him which confused the heck out of him and then he was captured by the techno’s.
He then was bounced between places and Islands, he even met Bray once but that reunion was sadly short-lived. Ryan has moved again, he would not meet another Mallrat until one day he arrived with other slaves at a beach and was placed in the same cage as K.C and Alice. But then he also saw the man he hated with more passion than he could have ever imagined… The Guardian.
Together with his two friends, they came up with a plan how to escape the techno but also have their revenge on the man they all hated with equal passion. Ryan has never felt guilty about the death of the guardian, he easily justified it for the greater good of everyone else.
K.C went his own way after a while but Ryan stayed with Alice, they had searched for their other missing friends with not much luck. They finally settle down where they could live in peace and far away from the cit where just trouble seemed to brew all the time. But now the past has come to haunt them in a form of a red envelope.
