Forced to work in the Chosen’s camps Danni tried not to lose her fight although the surroundings made it very difficult for her to stay strong. By the time The Chosen had fallen and The Techno’s had taken control Danni’s loyalty to the Mall Rats and her previous friends was beginning to waver. BACKGROUND (if your character wasn’t in season 5): Ved wasn’t deleted as the others were lead to believe, instead he was offered a unique and exciting opportunity by Mega that he couldn’t turn down. He couldn’t bear the thought of going without Cloe and so he manager to persuade her to leave with him without telling her Mall Rat family as he didn’t want to jeopardise the mission.
Ved and Cloe were relocated to an Island which had previously been run by The Chosen. The Island was a valuable source of income and the technos wanted to make sure that was utilised properly. Having previously been run by the Chosen the island was in disarray but Ved was part of the team employed to straighten things out.
While working his dislike of virts continued to shine through which lead to a lot of arguments with Cloe. He had no respect for the prisoners and found their predicament amusing if nothing else. Cloe, on the other hand, hated seeing them treated so badly and did everything she could to help. Unfortunately, in amongst the prisoners Cloe recognised two familiar faces, her childhood best friend Patsy and the man she had looked upon as a second father, Ryan. Without thinking of the consequences she had done everything in her power to release the people who meant the world to her.
Hearing what Cloe had done, Ved was heartbroken. His beloved had betrayed not only the Techno’s and their cause, but also him. Although Patsy and Ryan were never recaptured the other people who had escaped from their cage hadn’t been so lucky. The recaptured prisoners and their saviour Cloe were sent away to be waster and Ved requested a Virtual Reality mind alteration to erase the memories and fix his broken heart.

BACKGROUND:
Slade was born the second child of teenage sweethearts. His old fashioned, maternal grandparents divided the family leading Slade’s family into a weaved web of confusion and agony. It was six years that Slade hated his mum before finding out she wasn’t biologically his mother at all, though she did abandon him for life with her real son, Josh. He found this out during the early year of the virus while reading secrets his father had stashed away in their attic. Slade had always been with his true mother and his sister was actually his sister, unlike the little brother he’d resented for taking away who he thought truly was his mum. Why anybody ever needed to lie was crazy to him, but the virus made sure nobody could answer the why. His sister had been arrested and taken away for trying to get answers about the virus and after his parents were dead and gone there was no one left to give answers.
Alone in the world, Slade left his little town of white picket fences and finally got to adventure like he always wanted.

First stop was finding the little brother he never knew. And he took care of the little guy for awhile, trying to regain a sense of family til slavers separated them. In trying to locate Josh, Slade found himself the mark of bounty hunters.
They captured him and kept him in a cave til his bounty was paid. Imagine his relief when he saw his new slaver, his own sister. She was alive and well and had put a bounty on him as it was the safest way for her to locate him in the grit that became the City.
They stuck together wandering small town to small town from time to time away from the madness of big cities until she contracted the virus. He didn’t know what to do but watch yet another member of his family perish. He thought it was only a matter of time before he and all of humanity were finally exterminated like their parents. That was until he heard about a City with a known cure for the virus. And then he stumbled upon his brother there who was a deranged tribe leader.
The rest is current history. He based himself in Liberty, became an accidental hero, met Ram, Ruby, Ebony, and the Mall Rats, and tried to save Mega from himself. Then he found himself with no motorbike and trapped on a boat that landed he and the others on an island in the middle of god knows where.
He’s still looking out for number one, but sometimes that means looking out for others around you too.

BACKGROUND: Alice was the leader of the Farm Girls. She is the older sister of Ellie and has a protective role towards her. After Ellie was cured from the virus due to the efforts of the Mall Rats both Alice and Ellie joined the tribe.
Alice struck up a close friendship with Taisan and ensured she was protected whilst making the antidote. Also during this time she had a big crush on Lex. Alice was hurt when she found out that Taisan and Lex were a item.
Alice continued to remain a very loyal member of the Mall Rats. When The Chosen took over the city and forced her into slavery, Alice refused to join them to be freed from torture. After The Chosen’s defeat she started a relationship with Ned who was later wasted by The Gusrdian
When the Technos invaded the city, Alice was one of the handful of Mall Rats to be captured. We last saw her on a island being held captive in a cage and alongside her was KC and The Guardian. Alice had a rather gruelling journey from the moment she was captured up until this new chapter in her life where it will continue to be a tough battle to stay a live and have hope she will see more Mall Rats again soon, especially her dear sister Ellie.

BACKGROUND:
Zan woke up buried under the stones struggling to breath under the pressure and what felt like lack of oxygen, it adrenaline is what got her out of the grave. As she was trying to get out, some people were passing and thankfully heard the noise and ran over helping to move the stones – effectively saving her. She sat by Ambers gave for a while but when it came to standing up and leaving, it wasn’t long until she passed out once she had her feet on the ground. Unknown to Zandra they replaced all the stones because they were worried whoever buried her may come after her if they knew she was alive and they didn’t want the worry to keep looking over their shoulders.
At first she wanted to go back to the Mall, but as she recovered, she found herself resenting them for what she went through and decided she should make a new life, she tried with the The Circle, the ones who had saved her but they were on a mission to save as many people as they could and that wasn’t the life for Zan.
She travelled for about a year after leaving The Circle, but was captured by the Techno’s, she was moved to the mines before getting moved to the Island.

After Patsy was caught spying she was sent to the work camps. Never before had she felt so little and alone. Everyone looked out for themselves not like they did in the mallrats, where everyone looked out for each other. She missed the mallrats, even missed Alice and Ellie who had convinced her to spy on the chosen. During her time there she always wondered if the mallrats were still managing under the control of the chosen.
When the camp was left unguarded and people left she wanted to make her way home as well. Home to the mall, home to the mallrats. But her journey did not go there, surely if they had cared they would have searched for her, searched for the others, like they had when Cloe went missing when the virus had first happen.
After the time in the chosen’s work camp, Patsy found Ryan again. The two of them lived together with a few other people as a tribe, until the technos came and took over, taking most of their tribe members with them. Now theres five of them left, the others gone, taken prisoners by the technos, put into the cages at the beach. a girl a boy and a child around the age of three, whos mother died birthing her, the child was looked after by the other members of the tribe till the technos took them away.

When the technos moved to take over the city Paul had fled from, he was given the choice to come with them, or help control the place where the prisoners would be sent. He picked the latest. Of course he hated seeing people in cages, but he couldn’t do anything with it.

BACKGROUND (if your character wasn’t in season 5) Luke was last seen on a boat with the Guardian having pretended to agree with the Guardian’s decision to leave the city. In truth Luke had been recalled and had to report back on what had happened. He’d made one stop prior to leaving, as he had some recruits to pick up.
Upon reaching the Island Luke had arrested the Guardian and had him placed in solitary while Luke changed in to his Techno uniform. He spent his return inducting the new recruits and ensuring that everything was up to standard. There were lots of prisoners who needed arranging and a lot of techno’s who needed organising. Luke excelled at managing people and ensuring that jobs got done efficiently.
There was a regular influx of new prisoners, and after an initial bumpy start the island was promoted to the main producer of Tbars which kept some of the prisoners and Technos busy, unfortunately they did have other more challenging prisoners who were scheduled for deletion, those were kept in cages near the beach.

The baby of five kids, and the only girl of the bunch, taught Lottie to be tough from a young age. Her brothers are mainly the reason she’s so flexible and can fit into many small spaces which aids in her sneaky and kleptomaniac tendencies. They didn’t know it back then, but they were teaching her how to survive in this strange, new world.
The virus claimed the eldest with their parents and the second oldest took charge. They were together for a time, the four Angel children, using Lottie as a tool with her face of innocence and ability to get in and out of places undetected to stay fed and clothed. Until the Chosen came, that was. Everyone was snatched, but Lottie, hidden perfectly, and she has no clue what became of the three brothers.
She was with the orphans a little while then a stray in Liberty before Ruby and Siva took her in and now she’s a Mallrat, she thinks.
