I feel stupid as I realise I asked her a question she had already answered. I feel pained as she tries to brush it off and tells me to just enjoy my night. She crouches down to Dyson. Since I don’t have Fenella I crouch down too. ”I wish there was something I could do. I could help you look but I’ll probably slow you down since I have Fenella. I know how it feels when someone disappears. I haven’t heard from my cousin Monty in weeks. It’s hard and scary”
I pause for a moment thinking back. I remember the person I saw by the stream near my house. I’m unsure if there is a connection so I don’t want to alarm her. ” I don’t think this has anything to do with Claire but I saw someone snooping around near my house a week or two ago. I don’t think it’s related but I know what you mean about our town though.”
I’m unsure whether or not to put my hand on her shoulder so I quiver but I decide not to because I don’t want to freak her out.
Luna
I’m a bit more at ease knowing that Sabrina knows this girl and her dog. Luckily Fenella has calmed down. However I still feel a twinge of jealousy towards her even though I really have no right to. I hear what Sabrina tells her and am immediately concerned.
Prometheus
The girl with the dog knows Sabrina and is asking her about the missing girl. Wait a minute, Luna and I saw one of those posters. I haven’t seen her so I say nothing. I feel I need to step in as it is getting too tense.
“Miss, I do apologize but we need Sabrina for a little bit. You two can pick this is up later. Sabrina, please?” I say and motion to the meeting room. “Corin is waiting.”
Someone was snooping before I showed up. We’ll see if they keep that up. @Eagle
Dyson looks very pleased with himself now he is being stroked. Sabrina joins us. She is very sweet and kind and shows empathy towards me. She keeps her hands to herself but I am not going to. I throw my arms around her and plant a small peck on her lips. One I wanted to, two I felt alone and three to make her friends realise I am a fret to her circle. Dyson rolls over wanting to play, he is obviously pleased for me.
Her male friend then chirps up saying he needs Sabrina, jealous much? Rising back to his level, “Wow! Yeah, no problem. Take her. Although I don’t see Corin yet.” I smile widely. I look at Sabrina and say, “Thank you so much. It’s nice to know you still care. If you or any of you wish to help search for her, some of the girls have put together a search party list just over there starting in the morning.” I wave my hand in the direction of the table.
Dyson is still having a funny 5 minutes. I giggle. “So, before you disappear what are all your names? If you were wondering I am Bo.” Dyson stops rolling around and sits up next to me, I giggle again, "And this is Dyson!"
I feel Bo’s warm lips briefly touch mine. Butterflies surge through my stomach but this isn’t the first time I’ve felt her lips on mine.
** Flashback **
I have always been friendly with Bo but back in Primary school we were best friends. We never really had the same interests. I was into gymnastics and it was never really her thing but that didn’t matter. I would listen to her mainly. Always kept such an interesting conversation. I loved it and she always made me smile. We’d go on adventures, down the stream and up trees. Making club houses and pillow forts. I remember it very clearly. Her lips still feel the same. We were playing Yahtzee and started talking about kissing. I hadn’t ever kissed anyone. Bo like the good friend she was said she could teach me how. Thinking nothing of it I agreed. She leaned towards me and pressed her lips against mine. I must have been as stiff as a stick because she pulled away and giggled. The truth was I didn’t know how to react. The butterflies flew around my stomach and for some reason I wanted to kiss again. We never did. When high school started we drifted apart. Our different interests carried us away into different groups

I snap back from out of my thoughts of the past and see Prometheus telling Bo we have to go talk to Corin. Mechanically I stand up. I give Bo a weak smile.
The scne becomes a bot uncomfortable as the girl gives Sabrina a kiss. Then she asks abpout or name and a bit unsure i first look at the others. As no one answers is decided to break this silence." I am Devon"
Eve
I grap the last plates Devon has broguth in and arrange them on the table. I look after Devon as he suddenly turns away and walk over to our friends and some poeple i don’t know. All of the others seems a bit unsure as well and i decided to walk over and find out. If something bad is happen i need to know it.
I came closer and i watch the girl gives Sabrina a kiss. With a questioning look i walk besides Pratt. I glance arround the group as i spot the dog and i do a step back behind Pratt. I don’t trust dog easily
Prometheus
This Bo girl gives everyone a look that indicates our company isn’t welcome to her. Then why come to a gathering cause a scene like this? What did she expect? She throws her arms Sabrina and then I am distracted by Eve when she walks up behind me and she seems very apprehensive. I can’t help but to allow myself to move in front of her protectively. I turn my attention back just in time to see Bo kiss Sabrina. What in the hell is this about? I look over at Luna and quickly recognize that look. For I donned it at one point in my life. “Poor Luna, you just met her. Don’t make this situation worse,” I please to myself.
Luna
This new girl… Bo suddenly kisses Sabrina and Sabrina lets it happen. Doesn’t stop her or anything. I should have known. The first girl I’ve met that I don’t get awkward around and she has someone even though she told me she was single. Of course. Once Sabrina stands up, I hand her Fenella while trying to hide the hurt and foolishness I feel and walk away to the teachers lounge. Not acknowledging Bo or her dog.
Prometheus
Luna quickly hands Sabrina her sister back and storms off. “Guess that was too much to hope for,” I think again to myself. Now suddenly Bo wants to know our names after making it quite clear earlier that we weren’t wanted despite the scene she created. I assess the situation. Eve is nervous and Sabrina looks like she wants to get away. I hate to be rude but I already don’t trust Bo’s intentions after everything that’s just happened. I place my hand on Sabrina’s shoulder and nod towards the teachers lounge where the others are waiting. I turn and walk away. Hopefully with them following me while Devon introduces himself. Hopefully he’ll just tell her what he always told people. That I am a man of few words. @Eagle
Maybe I had some hopes to see my step sister there, but as I had walked around no one familiar to me stood out. I walked back to where most people where I had seen Bo again with some other people. I held on to my bag again tightly, like it felt comforting for me when being around so many new people.
I had also made it to the group when a boy introduced himself. I felt my heartbeat fast but I cleared my throat a bit. “H…hi my name is Jessi” I spoke up feeling more confident to do so after hearing the boy named Devon say his name.
As far as i spoke out my name, another girl suddenly joins us and tells us, that her name is Jessi. I turn my head in her direction and stare for a moment. Not sure what it was, but something in her appearance makes me speechless… seconds, which feels like a hours i was able to answer. " hey, i am Devon"
I had seen what had occurred a few moments before I had fully neared the group, but I hadn’t paid much attention to it. I saw one boy and one girl walk way from the group about the same time I had walked up so I didn’t have the chance to learn who they were just yet. I turned my eyes towards the boy and my face is always probably as red as it felt from the moment I spoke and even more now when someone spoke back to me.
I did let a smile gently come over my face as I looked at him for a few seconds before I responded “Nice to meet you Devon” I spoke with a soft voice and maintained my soft smile.
I swallow as i realize that i have already introduce myself before. Oh damn how embarrasing, she must think i am an completly idiot….
" Are… are you from here?" i ask, unsure if i have ever seen here before.
Trying to speak with Sabrina’s friends was a failure, the two who I think are brother and sister completely blank me and walk off. Very strange. I was trying with them, but suit yourself. Maybe I will get another chance, maybe they are just having a bad day like me?
At least I get one out of three names, a lovely gentleman called Devon introduces himself. Jessie has now joined us, and it’s nice to see her start to interact with Devon.
Sabrina is still a bit bewildered I think by the kiss, I best try and smooth this out. “Since I taught you how to kiss you had many boys tongues down your throat?” I smirk at Sabrina.
I started to feel less nervous and my heart slowed down and wasn’t beating as fast anymore, I felt more comfortable which was a big relief. “Ohh no I used to live in the city closest to this so… um I’m very new here” I said with a blush on my face.
I was though very right about being very new since I had touched solid city ground no more than a few hours ago perhaps. I had lost track of time at this point. “Are you from here?” I also then decided to ask back after a short second of silence looking at my feet blushing.
I take the few seconds she needs to answer to find my breathe again. As she tell me if i am from here, i think back to my home and that clams me down. " Yeah i live on the farm , right on the city broder, not far away from here. We brought some of the food." i explain, then i realzie somehting. " When did you arrive? Do you have a safe place here yet?"
I listened with interest an also smiled, living on a farm didn’t sound that bad at all. “That sounds nice, if that’s alright I might try some food” I blushed a little not sure if I could but hunger was slowly starting to creep up. “I came today actually, and I was lucky to well bump into Bo and Dyson and she offered me a place to stay” I almost laughed a little at the thought of just recently the dog coming in speed and jump on me.
" Yeah you should, the girls have done a really good job." i answer smiling but i also feel a bit disappionted as she tells me that she has a place to stay yet. " Did you came her by accident or do you know someone in this city?"
"Then I must try it" I giggled softly. It died off a little as I looked down at my feet. My thoughts went to my brother for a few seconds, **“Mostly by accident, but I had a step-sister who used to live in this city. Though I’m not sure if she still lives here”**I then answered shrugging my shoulders lightly with a soft smile. “But I’ve seen to have been lucky meeting really nice people so far” I then added smiling at Devon.
First Bo and now Devon, sure it was only two people so far but they had been really nice.
I am not really good in reading people but her pause was a bit long… before i can react she tells me that she has been lucky to just meet nice people so far. I nod with a little smile, hoping my cheeks aren’t that red as it feels like. " Yeah, must of us are good. We have leanred to help each other out. We have also marekt running now where people can trade and stuff." i mumble, not really sure what i was talking about
I was still feeling the fresh feeling of loss but not something I exactly felt like sharing with people I just met. I didn’t want to place that heavy news onto someone else, “That’s truly amazing, maybe well you could show me sometime the market? I don’t think I have anything valuable to trade though” I said as I blushed once more.
" Sure i can, we are there from time to time with thinks from the market. You can help out if you want to." i offer her.
Eve
Prometheus turns to Sabrina and so my shield from the dog was gone now. I look arround a bit afraid and see Devon talking to a girl i don’t now. First i thought something boring but then i see Devons look and the color on his cheeks… ohhh, Devon don’t tell you like that girl… all my fear was gone and i turn to the pair. i listen to the last few sentence and roll my eyes. flirting wasn*t really their strength. " Hey, i am Eve" i walk next to Devon and look at the girl with a smile.
I smiled softly nodding my head “That sounds great, I would love to help out” if I was gonna stay in this city I did want to help out doing what I could. I was though failing on how to carry conversations, I still felt very shy and while talking to Devon had made me a bit more comfortable I was still blushing probably a lot.
I looked up at a new voice and saw a girl I had also seen as I had walked up to the group, I gave her a friendly smile. "Hey, I’m Jessi nice to meet you"
